Literacy-- EL Curriculum
We follow the EL curriculum for our literacy instruction. The EL curriculum is broken into 4 modules, one per quarter. Each module is broken in three 3-week units, Within each unit, students will dive into reading and writing work through whole group instruction, small group instruction, and student self-assessment and reflection. Your child will rotate through independent reading, additional work with complex text, word study and vocabulary, fluency, and grammar work in the ALL block. All students receive the daily instruction and individual teacher attention needed to be successful.
